S1c Frank Jr. Ehrmantraut

Frank Ehrmantraut Jr. was born in Indianapolis on Oct. 17, 1921 and attended Arsenal Technical High School in the city.

He enlisted in the Navy on Jan. 11, 1940, and was a seaman first class on the U.S.S. Arizona when he was killed in the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, Dec. 7, 1941.

His father, Frank Sr., was a World War I veteran who later worked as a truck driver for an ice business, as a taxi driver, and at a hospital. His mother, Etalee, was a homemaker and worked at a bakery.
