AM2c Henry Landman
Henry Landman was born July 18, 1916 in Saginaw, Michigan. His father, Casper Landman, was a laborer at a glass factory and his mother, Sophia Eurich Landman, a homemaker. They were Russian immigrants.
The son attended Arthur Hill HighSchool in Saginaw and enlisted in the Navy on Nov. 3, 1937.
He was an aviation machinist and petty officer second class on the U.S.S. Arizona when he was killed in the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, Dec. 7, 1941. He was 25.
