COX William Hughes Hyde

William Hughes Hyde was born April 1, 1922 to George Albert Hyde and Eleanor (Or Elenor) Hughes Hyde.

He lived in St. Louis, Missouri in the 1930s and attended Blow School, which had students in grades K-9.

Mr. Hyde enlisted in the Navy on June 12, 1939. He was a coxswain and petty officer third class on the U.S.S. Arizona when he was killed in the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, Dec. 7, 1941.

His father was a World War I Army veteran.
